As reported by experience and the manufacturers of Webmail, Internet Explorer has a bad habit of saving sensative information in its cache. This can be a problem on a multi-user computer such as those in the labs at UTC. Even if you have logged out of Webmail, the next user can just hit the "back" button and read your mail. There are two simple steps to minimize the risk of this happening. These steps should not be necessary if you are the only user of the computer.
Step
One
Open up the Internet Options Control Panel.
Click on the General Tab.
Under the History section, set the "Days to keep pages in history" to zero.
Click OK.
Step
Two
Open up the Internet Options Control Panel.
Select the Advanced Tab.
Click the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk."
Click OK.
